Our trip to A Japanese Style Inn in Sydney, Australia - Ryokan Gojyuan

We were looking for an interesting way to spend our first anniversary. It has always been my wish to visit Japan again. However with a large mortgage now, it would be very difficult to. I did some research and found a great alternative - to visit a traditional Japanese Inn! And I found one not too far away in Balmain -  a suburb only 6km away from Sydney CBD. Ryokan Gojyuan. We made booking online. We chose to do a 1 night stay and with the kaiseki (traditional multi-course Japanese) dinner to make the most of the Japanese experience. A 50% deposit via BPay or direct deposit was required to secure the booking. We arrived at Ryokan Gojyuan in Balmain by car in mid afternoon. Their earliest check-in time is at 3pm. Bringing a new cat home

In December, we saw a wonderful affectionate 8-week old kitten in a vet's clinic. The poor little thing was abandoned at birth and was found with fleas and had a bad bout of kitty flu. The vet nurses at the practice hand raised the little one. As my husband works in the pet care industry, he found out about this little guy. After a long discussion and putting the pros and cons on the table, we decided to bring him home. We gave him the name, Khromie. According to the vet, Khromie is likely a ragdoll cross. He sure did have that super affectionate, ragdoll personality. Day 0 We went to get some high quality kitten food. My husband strongly insisted a "super premium" grade of cat food. The lines which carry the "super premium" grade are Advance, Hill Science Diet, Royal Canin, Eukabana, etc. "Super premium" food is filler free and have the right blend of nutrients for a cat. I'm Matty, working as a young healthcare management professional in my early 30s. I live in Sydney with my darling husband and 4 lovely kitty cats in a small Eastern Suburbs apartment. I have a wide array of hobbies which includes: cooking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, online gaming, scrapbooking, and exploring different restaurants. I play the piano, organ and percussion.
